One of the most discussed topics in evolution is that of human evolution. According to the Theory of Evolution, the species known as homo sapiens, modern humans, slowly evolved over millions of years from a primate or primate-like ancestor. Evidence has been presented to support this idea, as should occur with all scientific theories. However, every piece of evidence, from Peking Man to Nebraska Man, has been shown to be either an understandable mistake or flagrant fraud, thus meaning that human evolution is a completely unfounded theory.

To begin, let us examine the most blatant of these frauds - Piltdown Man. In 1912, Charles Dawson, an amateur archaeologist, presented fragments of a fossil skull and jawbone to the Geological Society in Lo…

    Hey guys, it's nya.

I guess all I really need to say here is what can we do to make this wikia look and feel improved? I personally don't know what I want to do with this place curtainly and I think the best way to solve this to ask the community to enlightenten me on this issue.

I  just merely want to improve here for the better and to make it more open to new comers.

Also I'd like to thank HyperFlash Studios for genourously offering too help with making Verubris better apperance wise and hit him up with ideas on his message wall here http://verubris.wikia.com/wiki/User:HyperFlash_Studios and make sure to run them by to one of Mods (Game Wolfy, Plurk and myself).

I guess I don't really have much else to …

Evolution is not proven fact, nor will it ever be. In fact, it cannot be proved. This is not because of lack of evidence, as many would think, but because of the very nature of the scientific method.

In the scientific method, one begins with a question that cannot be explained by existing theories. Using what one knows, which may include other theories of more or less credibility, one attempts to explain the phenomenon or answer the question by creating a new hypothesis. Typically, this hypothesis is published in a scientific paper, though this is not a fundamental part of the scientific method. Once the hypothesis is made known to the scientific community, scientists begin examining and learning more about the hypothesis, because most often th…

    God is not Great

As promised, I will exlain here why I truely hope that there is no God - or rather, why even if I did believe God existed I would not worship him. I will deal here largely with the Judean-Christian God, the ony I myself am most familiar with, having been raised as a Christian.

As far as I am aware, there are two possible ways to view the Bible: either as truth, the "word of God', or as a book full of methaphor. Both of those would lead me to the conclusion that God is not great. I'll deal with both options in turn.

First of all, the Bible as plain truth. If one believes this, God is a jerk. guilty of Genocide, rape, slavery, racism, regular mass-murder, mysoginism and homophobia. He is unjust, unfair, inconsisted and a contr…

Protein is absolutely essential to life on earth. Without it, cells could not function properly and without cells, all forms of living organisms could not exist, as all of them are composed of one or more of these building blocks of life. However, the only known proteins - full protein chains, not merely amino acids - that exist are created by mechanisms within living organisms. Nevertheless, there is a chance that the protein necessary to kickstart the first living cell was created by purely natural methods.

What are the odds of this happening??? As calculated by Dr. Charles E. Guye, the chance that a single protein molecule could have formed in the Universe outside of a living system is 1 to 10^160. That's a ten with 159 zeros after it! A…

In the two previous parts I have stated my atheism, but have not defended it. Here follows the first part of that defense.

There is no evidence for God, there is no evidence against God. Any person who claims otherwise is either intentionally lying or blatently ignorant. Then why do I choose to live my life without a God? Verry simple. Just because I cannot disprove or prove there is a pink bucket floating around jupiter, does not mean that the chance of it being real is 50%.

The God hypothesis states that a sentiet, almighty being has either created our universe as a whole, as it is, or at least acted as a watchmaker who set the actions in progress and then turned away, never to interfear with it again. Either way, essential to the hypothe…

The Second Law of Thermodynamics is one of the most basic and unbreakable laws of Nature. It is responsible for the "Arrow of Time". It is responsible for the ingenious work of Stephen Hawking on the entropy of black holes. It is responsible for your glass of water spilling, but not unspilling. It explains why eggs break, why gas diffuses...and why Organic Macroevolution is a fatally flawed theory.

The Second Law states, to put it rather crudely, that "disorder increases with time". That would explain why my room is a wreck. However, Wikipedia gives us a better definition: "the total entropy of a isolated (closed) system always increases over time, or remains constant in ideal cases." Even better is Brian Greene's definition, summerized in …

Since Plurky has requested that I give the "scientific evidence" that I claim exists for theism (a request that is both fair and logical), I have decided to start a blog series titled "Theism: An Intelligent Worldview" (in case you hadn't already looked at the title). In it, I will hopefully present a good case for why theism is actually a factually sound and logical worldview.

In this series, I will give evidence and arguments that disprove Organic Macroevolution, Cosmic Evolution, and other atheistic theories that explain how the world as it is came to be. This is evidence for theism, because the syllogism:

Either atheism or theism is correct.

    Atheism is not correct.

    Therefore, theism is correct.

Shows that evidence against atheism (proving t…

"You shall not covet your neighbour's house. You shall not cover your neighbour's wife, or his manservent or his maidenservent, his ox or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour" This is one of the Ten Commandements that both Jews and Christians uphold, or at the verry least claim to do so. But his one is by far the scariest of them all.

Why, you ask? Because this one, unlike the other nine, entails not a ban on taking a certain action... but on thinking. This one entails t o u g h t c r i m e. You are forbidden to have a certain type of feelings! And what feelings are that? Envy. This is the foundation of the Christian crusade on envy which they deem an evil thing. How foolish they are! Envy is something great! Because it t…

this will be the start of a series where i'll post philosophical essays I wrote myself. Or at least, that is the idea.  THis first one, "on god and estragement", deals with my views on religion, which are heavily inspired by Feuerbachs views. So heavily, that it may be hard to find out what is truely "original" content, but hey.

God did not create humanity, but humanity has created god. Why? From fear, from a desperate attempt to understand the world around them. By this action, the creation of god, two extremely important things have happened.

Frist of all, the absolute forms of good and evil have entered the stage because of this action, playing the part of Gods will. Good seized to be a subjective, debatable good, and turned in to an a b…
